Ceremony’s resident DJ team was known as The Night Shift. Eight former members of The Night Shift are spinning at the Ceremony Reunion, including all five founders.

DJ KellyA DJ KellyA: Kelly Litzenberger (formerly Kelly Ashkettle) had a gothic/ethereal show on University of Pittsburgh radio station WPTS when she co-founded The Night Shift in 1997. She later founded Night Sky Productions to book gothic and industrial bands at Ceremony. She left The Night Shift in 2002 when she returned to her home state of Utah, but moved back to Pittsburgh in 2012. Her specialty is synth-goth. [Sample playlist]
DJ KellyD: Kelly DeYoe had a goth show on Carnegie Mellon University radio station WRCT when he co-founded The Night Shift in 1997. He specializes in goth. He left The Night Shift in 2000, when he moved back to the D.C. area. [Sample playlist]
briansmall2 DJ Badtz: Brian Parker had an industrial show on University of Pittsburgh radio station WPTS when he co-founded The Night Shift in 1997. He borrowed mixing techniques from the dance music world for eclectic sets of industrial, EBM, and pop. Brian was a member of The Night Shift for most of Ceremony’s run. [Sample playlist]
DJ Salo DJ Salo: Michael Salo had a goth show on Carnegie Mellon University radion station WRCT when he co-founded The Night Shift in 1997. He left in 2000 for job opportunities in other states. Currently, he resides in Brooklyn. The Ceremony Reunion has got him thinking about returning regularly to club DJing. arvinsmall DJ Circuitry: Arvin Clay was asked to join The Night Shift as a founding member in 1997 because he had done some club DJing in Ohio. He was part of The Night Shift for three months before moving to Los Angeles, but later rejoined from 2005-2008. He specializes in classic industrial, dark alternative, and IDM. [Sample playlist]
DJ Hiem DJ Hiem: Jim Semonik claims the title of the longest-running member of The Night Shift. His ten-year membership began in 1999 and lasted until the night ended in 2008. He specializes in aggro industrial. Jim is the lead singer of the EBM band Rein[Forced], runs the music department at Eide’s Entertainment, and owns Distortion Productions. [Sample playlist]
DJ Mass Hysteria DJ Mass Hysteria: Tara Kirkman (formerly Tara Tempalski) still spins a few times a year as DJ Callisto. She was a member of The Night Shift from 2004-2008. She specializes in dark electronica, down tempo, post-punk, and dark indie. [Sample playlist]
donsmall1 DJ TFS: Don Anderson is the lead vocalist and programmer for solo industrial projects Terror Firma Sky and Virul God Complex. He was a member of The Night Shift from 2004-2008. He specializes in IDM, power noise, dark electro, and classic industrial. [Sample playlist]
